Had lunch with a sweet friend today.......very refreshing. She has a cute baby who just learned to say "Mama." She made delicious salad with homemade dressing. She inspired me to experiment with making salad yummier with
-- olive oil
-- red wine vinegar
-- salt
-- pepper

Also, I got my nails done:)

And Happy Birthday to my favorite 19- year-old!!!!!!!!

Chivalry is not dead. Thank you, Stranger Tony, who turned around and came back to help me change my spare tire on I-10. He said he'd want someone to pull over and help his wife if she were in the same situation. God bless him.

For the record, my husband would have come to help me, but I didn't leave him a message because I didn't want to wait for him:) But I'm still grateful for the helpful gentleman.

I took a whole day for rest today:

A WHOLE DAY.

I'm beginning to understand why a day of rest was COMMANDED...

and planning on making this a regular practice.
