Weddin' Time-- Paul's Wedding Trip, July 2013

July, 2013 we had the joy of going to Paul's wedding!

Paul and Rebecca were married on Honeymoon Island (a state park near Tampa.) That means Destination Wedding, and what a destination it was!

We got to go to the beach... with white sands, cool breezes, salty smells. What a treat for the senses.

The wedding (Saturday evening) was not far from where we spent Saturday afternoon in the water. It was just lovely.

My dear Uncle Tim officiating, my younger brother as a groomsman, sweet Rebecca in her beautiful gown, and my little brother all grown up as the groom! I almost cried, I was so proud of him!

The whole thing was just beautiful, from beginning to end. Beautiful scenery, beautiful decorations, beautiful people:)

Of course, after the wedding, once we'd traveled that far, we had to enjoy ourselves a little longer! We enjoyed time with family in Tampa.

My favorite was visiting the Tarpon Springs Aquarium, where I got to feed sharks and pet an alligator!!

 

 

Then we drove to Atlanta, GA where we spent some time with Andrew's Uncle Ron. We visited the Georgia Aquarium the first day.

We drove around North Georgia the next.

Then we went to Stone Mountain. The view from the top was lovely! And then we stayed for the laser show, which was pretty fun too!

All in all, a wonderful vacation!!
